White Dewlap African Goose
The White Dewlap African Goose is the white colored variety of this massive domestic breed. Though the name of the African Goose would indicate they originated in Africa, their genetic lineage is distinctly Chinese and are one of the descendants of the wild Swan Goose.
The White Dewlap African Goslings are quite adaptable and docile, also having a rapid maturity rate. These birds can be cross bred with other breeds of geese to create larger breeds.
White Dewlap African Geese have mostly white plumage while some can have traces of light brown feathering that has not yet been bred out. They have a medium sized knob on their orange bills, along with orange feet.
African Geese are the leanest of the large waterfowl, making them a very popular breed. They also carry themselves with an attractive stance and posture, yielding a stately demeanor. When they’re parts of a flock, their size causes them to attract a great deal of attention.
