The White Crested Blue Polish chicken (non bearded) is one of the best ornamental fancy chicken breeds! Fun fact: Polish chickens are thought to have originally come from the Netherlands, but the name was given when the birds were first transported from Poland and initially introduced in England. Although they’re mostly used for showing, Polish chickens are also fairly well layers of white small to medium sized eggs. This chicken is notable for the crest of feathers around its head, as well as its large nostrils. If you want to have them in cold environments, remember to trim their top knob feathers to keep them from getting wet while drinking water. Their personalities makes them excellent pets!
