The full-sized standard varieties of the Old English Game Fowl are much more scarce than their Bantam counterparts. The Standard Old English Game Fowl are thought to be one of the oldest breeds of land fowl, and they are most known for their gameness.
The males of these breeds are extremely territorial, and they will defend their ground vigorously against other invading roosters. We recommend keeping adult males separated. These are excellent and popular breeds to raise for show purposes; but all combs, ear lobes, and wattles must be Dubbed in order for them to qualify in a show.
