   This coop was designed to keep smaller flocks safe and comfortable. We recommend that you house up to three full grown chickens in this coop.


2. What is a chicken tractor?
   A chicken tractor is a type of chicken coop that is easily movable. Most chicken tractors have wheels which allow just one person to move the coop on a regular basis. The reason for this movement is two fold, to protect the ground and vegetation for being over used by the chickens, such that the area is preserved from erosion and destruction. Also, to allow the chicken droppings to acts as a fertilizer for the grass of lawn underneath. Chicken tractors are most effective on large flat areas with a relatively small amount of trees and bushes. Finally, fenced in areas are ideal, such that the birds won't need to be specially handled during the chicken tractor movement.

   You will need about 1 quart of high quality, out door ready paint.

    Yes, it certainly is! The Hen House Chicken Coop was designed to ward off even the most pesky and relentless of predators (see devious raccoons). Every opening comes with proper latching to seal in your precious chickens. Please note that this coop doesn't include a floor, thus if you are on an uneven surface and want to eliminate the risk of a predator getting in underneath the coop, simply put the coop on a 2x3 foot board.
