Pomeranian Goose Breeds for Sale
Pomeranian Geese, which are also known as the Rügener Goose come from Northern Germany where farmers developed them for their strong farming characteristics. They are excellent for meat product, egg laying, and also as watch birds. Pomeranian Geese will often be quite noisy around visitors or potential predators.
On average, they are about 16 pounds and lay 70 eggs during the breeding season (February through June). The body style of the Pomeranian Goose is described as "arrogant", with their stout necks, flattened heads, prominent chests, and robust bodies.
