Golden 300 Hybrid Layer Ducks

Are you looking for the ultimate egg producing duck? The Golden 300 Hybrid Layer Duck is the bird that was specifically designed to be highest value egg laying breed. It was originally bred by John Metzer, a California farmer who sought to create the highest value creating birds for his numerous egg customers. It is primarily based on the Khaki Campbell, which offers the best egg output of all the standard duck breeds. However, with superior feed conversion and more relaxed temperament of other breeds, the Golden 300 Hybrid Layer Duck not only offers an extremely high production of eggs, but the best overall value for any egg producing operation.

Simply put, Khaki Campbell hens are wonderful for relatively small egg production operations. However, in a larger commercial operation, the Golden 300 Layer Offers some characteristics such as larger eggs, higher fertility rates, a calmer temperament, and a faster rate to maturity.

Furthermore, Golden 300 Hybrid Ducklings can be sexed as soon as the hatch. Males will be darker than the females, making it easy for one to differentiate between the genders. This highly desirable quality, similar to Sex-Link Chicken, is only found in this breed of duck. However, this quality will not be present in future generations of this bird.

The ducks that we ordered arrived quickly and were all healthy. We will continue to use eFowl for any other purchases we have. Customer service was very nice and answered all of my questions. The only thing I can think of that could be changed is to post in the "Order shipped" confirmation that tracking numbers will be available next day to prevent unnecessary calls from people like myself that are too impatient to wait.

Awesome!! April 8, 2016
Reviewer: RICHARD from PLOVER, WI United States
I've had these 6 ducks from EFOWL 2 years now and after they started laying - I tracked their production for a FULL YEAR.
In that year, they failed to lay AEPD (An Egg Per Day) only 4 times!! (hardly ever do they "miss"
I am SWIMMING in eggs for a family of 5 and had to resort to selling the extras to my friends :)
These eggs are NOT large - they only fit in JUMBO cartons and all my friends and I agree - they taste better than chicken eggs and make breads and cakes fluffier - sounds weird - but we proved it's true time & time again.
They survived Wisconsin winters fine and are pets for my children - 2 of them follow the kids around the yard and love to be petted.
    I'll never buy chickens again!

I love the ducks!  I was disappointed that the email with tracking number to tell me they had been shipped was sent 6 hours after I picked them up from the post office.
