These ornamental breeds have an exotic and decorative looking crest of feathers on their heads. Sometimes, crested breeds are referred to as "top-hat" breeds because of the resemblance. Be careful mixing crested breeds with non crested chickens because non-crested breeds that are more aggressive may see this crest of feathers as a pecking target.
These chicks are safely and comfortably shipped hours after they hatch. You will receive your baby chicks when they are about 34-48 hours old.
