Chukar Partridge

Chukar are a type of partridge that are widely used for hunting and to liven up one's property. They are one of the most adaptable game birds, being able to thrive in a wide range of temperatures and types of terrain. While Chukars favor drier, rockier landscapes, it is quite simple to maintain a flock in grasslands or woodlands.

Along with the Ringneck Pheasant, Chukars are one of the most common types of game birds. Their smaller bodies and fast flight capabilities make them an ideal bird to hunt and consume.

Also, Chukars' hardy adaptability make them an ideal bird to raise and even breed for beginners and novice bird enthusiasts. They can be kept and bred in almost any configuration of numbers, and have a high rate of survivability.

We received our chicks 2 weeks earlier than expected and had to combine them in a brooding area since we were not ready. We did have one sad casualty due to this. But the rest appear to be doing fine.

Hello J,

Our records indicate we sent you an email confirming the correct shipping date several months before your birds shipped. We also sent a shipping confirmation with a tracking number as well on the day they were shipped from the hatchery. both of these communications are meant to notify the customer of the expected arrival time of their birds. Combining the chicks should not have been an issue unless there is a significant size difference, in which case you can use a divider to protect the smaller chicks.

Thanks for shopping with eFowl!
