Blue Magpie Ducks
The Blue Magpie Duck is a very attractive bird, renown for its beautiful blue and white plumage in adulthood. The Blue Magpie Ducklings are highly sought after for their unique and appealing aesthetics.
The Blue Magpie is a light breed and are somewhat smaller in size and stature when compared to a Rouen duck. Their upright posture is very similar to the Khaki Campbell duck, while maintaining a streamlined keel. This unique posture comes from Indian Runner Duck in its bloodline.
Although they are often kept as pets for their beauty, Blue Magpies are also bred as farm ducks for their eggs and meat. |
