Black Magpie Ducks
The Black Magpie Duck is a very attractive bird and desirable waterfowl specimen. They are renown for their beautiful black and white plumage in adulthood, and the Black Magpie Ducklings are prized for their unique black and yellow aesthetic.
The Black Magpie is a light breed and are somewhat smaller in size and stature when compared to a Rouen. They stand upright and carry themselves with stature in a similar manner to that of a Runner.
Although they are often kept as pets for their beauty, Black Magpies are also bred as farm ducks for their eggs and meat. |
