Balut Duck Eggs

Balut Duck Eggs are considered a high-protein, hearty, nutritious delicacy in many Southeast Asian countries. They are widely believed to be an aphrodisiac.

Balut Duck Egg is very popular in the Philippines, Laos (where they are called Khai Luk), Cambodia (Pong tea Khong) and Vietnam ( Trứng vịt lộn or Hột vịt lộn). A Balut is a fertilized duck egg that is incubated for 16 days, boiled and then eaten in the shell.

Our Balut eggs are removed from incubation and candled to ensure quality. They are then immediately expressed shipped to you to guarantee freshness and value.

They were great.  Incubated 16 days.  If anything, I would've liked them incubated the full 21 days like in the Philippines, but they were still good at 16.

Eggs arrived on schedule  very well packed and intact..They are still going trough the brining process so I haven't yet tasted any. But I am sure they will be fine. I calculated that each egg with shipping and handling costs $3.25. That is so what pricy.
